The FMFounders visit the Nordstrom x Nike experience


The Founder females might’ve sneak peaked the Nordstrom x Nike  space in the Toronto Eaton Centre at the opening gala, but the rest of the group was able to enjoy a more in-depth experience last week. An entirely new concept tailored to female sneakerheads, the cotton candy space carries everything from limited-edition product dropping every month to activewear, tech and more.

We got a chance to see the laser-etched Air Max 90 “Toronto shoe as well, which was designed to celebrate Nuit Blanche. Packed with detail, it’s a white-on-white masterpiece worthy of the art festival and the city it pays tribute to. Not to mention it highlights one of the main reasons why the #FMfounders exist — to illustrate the intersection between art, culture and sport.

Yet the cream of the crop had to be customized Nike tees. Next to the boutique is, conveniently, an embroidery service and each Founder was surprised with their own personalized quote on the breast pocket. Of course, the night didn’t end there. Stay tuned for part two next week!
